About Allison Mizener

Allison Mizener launched her real-estate career in the Chicago area in 1987 with Sundance Homes, a leading Chicago home developer. Her previous experience in sales with Pitney Bowes, a Fortune 500 company, built a strong foundation in sales where she was repeatedly honored as a top producer. Additionally, Allison has managed, owned, and resold a national franchise with over 20 employees.

By 1989, another development company based in Chicago, Anvan Corporation, hired Allison as realtor and salesperson for Geneva National in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin where she consistently ranked as the top salesperson. Over a five-year period, Allison sold hundreds of condominiums, lots, and custom homes for Anvan Corporation. Geneva National is well known for its first-class appeal to primary and vacation homeowners from the affluent areas of Chicago. The development features 2,000 acres with a guard-gated entrance and is surrounded by Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino and Gary Player golf courses.

In 1995, Keefe Real Estate and Diversified Real Estate Concepts offered Allison a unique opportunity to pre-sell a brand-new ownership concept to the Lake Geneva real estate market. It was called The Cove, a Condominium Hotel. As an investor herself, Allison immediately recognized the many advantages of this concept, and not only did she purchase herself but she brought many of her previous clients along for the ride.

Allison opened Geneva Resort Properties as the broker/owner in 1997 and continued her career with developer clients, becoming a cutting-edge expert in the condominium-hotel ownership concept. Based on the immediate success of The Cove, Allison sold out numerous projects from 1995 through 2003, including other condominium-hotel projects such as Harbor Shores, Meridian (renamed Bella Vista), Mill Creek, and Timber Ridge. Most of the projects were entirely pre-sold before construction even began.

In 2003, once again Allison was pursued by Diversified Real Estate Concepts to manage their Las Vegas project. She took the position of managing broker for the Platinum Condominium Hotel & Spa, one of the first condo-hotel developments to be introduced to Las Vegas. This larger market was an opportunity to bring to the table all of her previous successes. Allison recruited her friend, Deanna Serio, a successful development manager from Chicago, to assist with the project. Together they sold out the project in less than 8 weeks.

About Deanna Serio

Deanna Serio’s real-estate career began in Chicago’s thriving suburban market in 1984 as a licensed Realtor for Coldwell Banker’s National Relocation Division. By 1988, she had found an exciting niche selling award-winning, new-home developments for Chicago’s leading homebuilding company.

This experience led to an extensive list of accomplishments. With the sales-management background in the homebuilding industry, including all facets of development and new construction, along with her sales abilities, Deanna Serio now has a proven track record in the timely and successful close out of large development projects.

Over the last two decades, Deanna has successfully managed, marketed, and sold out of the following new-home developments in the Chicago area for national homebuilders: Meadow at Farmington, Woodhaven, Bridlewood Village, Red Rock, Mirielle, Heather Glen, Huntington, Reflections, Fields at Long Meadow. Las Vegas’ own The Platinum Condo Hotel & Spa is the latest addition to her list of accomplishments.

As the suburban homebuilding market was exploding in Chicago in 1988, Deanna joined the Oak Brook-based homebuilding company, Town & Country Homes. Extensive training in all areas of development and new construction, as well as her natural sales abilities, paved the way for Deanna to become a top-sales performer. Her ability to achieve sales goals year-in and year-out greatly contributed to the Town & Country’s growth and it soon ranked as Chicago’s largest homebuilder.

After receiving numerous “Salesperson of the Year” awards, Deanna was honored by the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) with the prestigious “National Salesperson of the Year” award in 1995.

Through personal investments, Deanna found the condo-hotel concept an interesting opportunity. That is where she met her business partner, Allison Mizener, who was a sales-development expert in the Lake Geneva condo-hotel market. In December 2003, when high-rise, condo-hotel development in the Las Vegas market was in its infancy, Deanna relocated with her family to Las Vegas to join Allison for a premiere project called The Platinum Condo Hotel & Spa. Deanna’s extensive experience in development, sales, and marketing proved to be of great value. The 255 units were sold out in less than two months.

Deanna Serio and Allison Mizener now own Skyline Properties Real Estate and continue to offer the Platinum owners an expert approach to re-selling their condo investments. They will continue to offer their services to a broad range of real-estate developers, buyers, and sellers.
